About Morpheus :
Morpheus is the name of a file sharing client for Microsoft Windows, operated by the company StreamCast, that originally used the OpenNAP peer-to-peer (P2P) platform.
Located at Morpheus.com, it had a Web-based search interface, just like Audiogalaxy had, though Morpheus searches all kinds of media, not just MP3s. In 2001, Morpheus changed protocols, from OpenNAP to FastTrack. On February 26, 2002, all Morpheus clients suddenly stopped working when the FastTrack protocol was updated and Morpheus users no longer were allowed to log into the network. This was apparently because of a licensing dispute between StreamCast and the owners of FastTrack. On March 2, 2003 a new, less-robust Morpheus client using the Gnutella network and the networking core from the Gnucleus servent was released. After some dispute over the GPL, under which Gnucleus had been released, Morpheus switched to a very outdated Jtella core, and after the disputes had been worked out, Morpheus switched back to the Gnucleus core. Since then, the network core has been updated to include Gnutella2, and StreamCast has created their own network, 'NEOnet,' and has included support for MLDonkey plugins, allowing access to EDonkey Network, Overnet Network, and, once again, FastTrack. Morpheus is property of StreamCast Networks, Inc. .

About Azureus:
Azureus is a Java based BitTorrent client, with support for I2P and Tor anonymous communication protocols. It currently supports Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Unix. Azureus was started at Sourceforge.net mostly to experiment with the Standard Widget Toolkit from Eclipse, in June 2003. It is possibly the most popular of all BitTorrent clients.
Azureus allows the user to download multiple files in a single graphical user interface (GUI). The program also features detailed statistics and a large number of user-configurable settings. While downloading a torrent, the user can view many different statistics.

Ares Galaxy is a peer-to-peer file sharing program.
The publisher describes the network as similar in function to Kazaa's FastTrack network. Ares used to work off the Gnutella network, but six months after its creation, they switched to their own network, consisting of leaves and supernodes.
There are several reasons why people prefer Ares Galaxy over other networks such as KaZaa and Gnutella. Proponents of the software claim that it has faster download times, better swarm downloads, no spyware or adware, and faster and more complete searches than other file-sharing programs. Ares also has the additional feature of chat rooms. Also, as of November 2006, Ares is not being targeted by the RIAA as KaZaa is. It also doesn't have slow connection times like Gnutella.
